We’ve all seen the great California tourism ads featuring celebrities, beaches, and even snow. However, there is much more to California than Hollywood and some nice weather. This state is absolutely massive and has many man-made and natural wonders to behold.
I wrote this article to talk about some of the great things you can see and do while in California. I’ll go over both the man-made and natural places you can go see on your visit. We’ll even talk briefly about saving money by using travel flash sales .
Firstly, you should realize that it is possible to enjoy the man-made wonders of California as well as the natural beauties of California. There really isn’t any reason for you to limit yourself to only seeing one or the other.
Man-made Sites To See While Visiting California
Hollywood is an incredibly famous place to visit. People from all over the world dream of coming to America to stay in Hollywood. The Hollywood sign is an American icon that is featured in all sorts of movies and shows. If you enjoy watching movies or reading up on celebrities, you won’t want to miss your chance to visit Hollywood.
After you’ve paid a visit to Hollywood, you’ll want to head on over to the Golden Gate Bridge. This bridge is a modern marvel of engineering and was once the largest suspension bridge in the world. It has since been knocked off its spot by a bridge in Japan, but it doesn’t make it any less magnificent You’ll find that this bridge is both long and wide and can hold six lanes of cars. You could also take a walk across this bridge, but keep in mind that it is a 1.7 mile walk, so bring some water with you when you do it.
If you want to enjoy both the natural beauty of California and the man-made beauty at the same time, you can visit the Santa Cruz boardwalk. There you can ride the amusements, eat at local shops, buy souvenirs or just enjoy the view of the beach. You can also quickly and easily walk down from the boardwalk and onto the beach. These beaches are guarded by life guards and you’re sure to have a fun and safe time.
Natural Beauty In California
The redwood trees of California are absolutely breathtaking. These trees are ancient, beautiful, and massive in size. There really isn’t any other forest on earth that looks quite like the redwood forests of California.
Prefer to enjoy a natural area that is a bit colder than the beaches of Santa Cruz and the forests of redwood trees? Go ahead and visit Mammoth lakes and take in some skiing or simply go to snap some fantastic pictures.
The only drawback to doing all these things is that it is going to cost you money. One way to save money is to book your trip through travel deal sites . There you’ll find all sorts of deals that will help you save money without sacrificing a good time.
The eighth wonder of the world is located in Cambodia. This wonder is known as the Temples of Angkor. There are over thirty temples and shrines that visitors can come to Cambodia to admire. These temples were built starting back in 802 and they are still magnificent to behold.
Because of this, many travelers visit Cambodia on a regular basis. Unfortunately, most travelers only stay in Cambodia only long enough to visit the temples. These travelers get a great experience in the temples, but they never get to see anything else in Cambodia. This is unfortunate because there is much more to Cambodia than the Temples of Angkor.
I wrote this article to talk about a few of the activities people should be doing when traveling through Cambodia. Consider visiting vacation flash sales now to book a stay in a floating hotel or some other wonderful accommodations.
