Premier League: Man United 0-1 Wolves

Joao Moutinho has struck late as Wolves earned a deserved 1-0 win over a Manchester United for their win at Old Trafford in 42 years.

An entertaining first-half saw wolves create a number of serious chances through Daniel Podence and Ruben Neves. But David De Gea played the role of a savior keeping his goal closed.

The Red Devils improved in the 2nd half after Bruno Fernandes’ introduction. The Portuguese mid-fielder first rattled the cross-bar.

Moments later, his free kick was nodded in by Cristiano Ronaldo, but from an offside position. Wolves continued to press from there and got their reward with 8 minutes left, when Moutinho’s low-drive found its way into the back of the net.

Victory lifts Wolves up to eighth, just three points behind United, who suffered their first defeat under interim manager, Ralf Rangnick.
