Iranian FM in Pakistan for OIC meeting on Afghanistan

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has traveled to Islamabad for an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) about Afghanistan.

According to Tasnim news agency, speaking to reporters upon his arrival in Islamabad on Saturday night, the top Iranian diplomat said, “The meeting of the foreign ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is going to be held in Islamabad tomorrow with the purpose of discussing the developments in Afghanistan as a serious crisis that exists in the region.”

He also noted that one of the other topics to be discussed in the conference will be the developments in Palestine.
