Iran, Oman discuss bilateral relations, regional developments

The foreign ministers of Iran and Oman have discussed various issues of interest to both countries in a phone call.

According to Press TV, during the Sunday phone call, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Omani counterpart, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation on the international level.

The top Iranian and Omani diplomat also urged the continuation of consultations on different mutual and international issues.

The Iranian foreign minister conveyed warm greetings of President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi to Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said and exchanged views with his counterpart on possible ways to resolve regional crises through dialogue among countries in the region.

Amir-Abdollahian expressed hope that necessary ground would be prepared for his visit to Muscat as soon as possible.
