I would like to give you details of my partner’s pregnancy timeline from a guy’s point of view. We found out that my girlfriend was pregnant about 3 months ago. While it was planned it was a bit of a surprise because it happened so quickly.
When you first find out your partner is pregnant it is very exciting. It won’t take long before you start to notice that the have the pregnancy symptoms and that can make it hard. It is normal for that to happen but I would like for you to understand beforehand the changes that this might have.
The most common thing that pregnant women suffer from is morning sickness. My girlfriend felt this throughout the day and not just in the mornings. It also happened a lot when she was hungry. Although she was not actually physically sick, she did get the feeling a lot but by the 14 week along the pregnancy timeline these feelings do pass.
My partner lost all of her energy. She started suffering from extreme tiredness. This changed both of our routines as she started to stay in bed more in the mornings. While it will be hard becuase of the feeling tired, your partner should try and keep their normal routine as much as she can.
You will also notice that in the evening that she will want to do a lot more sitting around and you may be required to take a more active role in the housework. You need to be prepared for this because it is hard but you will find that not all of the pregnancy timeline will be like this.
Although each woman will be different, there are some common symptoms and here are some of them. She will likely to suffer from head and backaches, have mood swings, possible constipation and have cravings for certain types of foods.
