Target: The Best Store In The World

Going shopping with young kids, other than to buy specific things for them that they can choose themselves, is not much fun. Trying to get in and out of the store quickly is even harder and takes about twice the time to finish as it would if you were on your own. Many worn out moms recruit their spouses to help wrangle the kids in the store while they shop or better yet, let them stay home with the kids. So-called Super Stores are usually the first choice if you have to take the kids along because it means one stop. Unless of course you’ve found everything you need, except for just one item. Drats! That means another stop.

But there is one store that in all probability has everything you need – and then some. That store is Target.

I’m sure many people who go to Target for just one thing often find that their shopping cart is half full by the time they’ve spend half an hour browsing the aisles.

For example, on a visit to buy, say, some women’s brown boots, there will no doubt be a sale. It is difficult for most women, even with kids in tow, to pass up a shoe sale. Especially when the prices are so affordable and the brands and styles so appealing. Plus, since all of the adult and children’s shoes are located in roughly the same area, the kids can have fun trying on shoes along with you.

Even if you just quickly stopped in to replace your leather watch band, you’re sure to find a shiny bauble on two that catches your attention on the several round racks of costume jewelry that they have. If jewelry is not your thing, you can browse through the colorful scarfs or many racks of everyday or high-fashion handbags.

When it comes to the areas more appealing to men, there’s no shortage there either. There’s an auto section, as well as a tools, hardware and sports area. Looking around, one might just come across some nice alpine skiing equipment or some ski gear and before you know it, you’re daydreaming about that family vacation you’ve been meaning to start planning for the last couple of weeks.

This is the kind of diversity that’s fantastic about Target; large selection, great prices and the fact that you just never know what you’re going to find next. And now they even have groceries too! What more could you ask for in a store?
