Two Great Colon Cleansing Recipes

Even though we have the importance of a healthy diet drilled into us through the media, it is not always possible for us to consume totally healthy meals. And even when we do, there is still a chance that our colon will incur build-up. This build-up can cause constipation, decrease in skin health, as well as other issues. Therefore, it’s important that we give our colon a helping hand once in a while with a colon cleanse.

Vegetable Soup


  • A few cucumbers (peeled and seeded)
  • 1 to 2 tomatoes (seeded and cut into cubes)
  • 1 jalapeno (seeded)
  • ½ an onion (diced)
  • A few drops of lime juice
  • 3 cloves of garlic (roasted and smashed)
  • 2 cups of vegetable stock (organic)
  • 1 teaspoon of parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of cilantro

Making the Soup

First of all add all the ingredients (pureed or whole) to the vegetable stock. Now mix it well and then serve the soup either hot or cold.

Lemon Juice


  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1/10 teaspoon of red cayenne pepper
  • 12 oz of hot water
  • 1 serving of fiber (powdered)

Making the drink

Lemon juice is easy to make, all you need to do is mix the above ingredients in a large glass and drink immediately.
